RE: Atlanta CG near I-85 (west or east)?

Why not just over-nite at a Cracker Barrell or Wally World?

RE: Trail-Lite Bantam Question

Un like the previous reply; I've had a wonderful experience with my 03 B-19. Bought it used 2 1/2 yrs ago and we love it. Had to patch 2 small tears in the tent ends...20 mins to fix. Both repairs are almost good as new.
I've had absolutely no problems with my unit. It's a tandem axle which I understand has some advantages with towing stability and endurance. It tows quite well behind my MPV minivan. We just returned from 2 weeks in Pa and Va mountains and we had a blast!!
Feel free to PM me or contact via e-mail.

Great Trip!!

We just returned from our 2 week trip to Pa/NJ and Natural Bridge,Va.
We had a great time. Weathershack reccomended Camp Taylor in Columbia,NJ right next to the Delaware Water Gap. The Lakota Wolf Preserve shares the property and was a great experience! We even sponsored a wolf for the next year(not too expensive fyi). Plenty to see and do with the Pocono's near by. Very relaxing, quiet campground to enjoy time away with family and enjoy nature.
Natural Bridge was awesome!! The mountains here were just gorgeous!! We really enjoyed the hiking tour of the bridge. The indian village was very interesting. We also enjoyed the caverns just up the road. I wish I could post pics for everyone, but broke the camera during the trip. At least we have the memories. We met a new couple to RVing from Va. So a quick shout out to Jack & Judy. It was nice meeting you. Hope your little boy's chin is better!!

RE: Campground Suggestions on NC, SC, GA, FL Coast

Huntington Beach State Park is absolutely gorgeous!! Just a short trip up 17 to Myrtle Beach to check out the activities. Some of the best seafood dining in Murell's Inlet. Can bike ride from the park.
Spent a long weekend in late October and the ocean temp was still warm enought to enjoy.

Camp Taylor Campground

Hey there folks... hope everyone's having a great camping season!! I have reservations @ Camp Taylor in NJ in 2 weeks. I was wondering if anyone who's been there recently can tell me about the sites being level. Any info would be helpful. I'm debating buying Lynx levelers. Haven't really had the need for anything since most places have been very level. Thanks for the help and happy camping!!!

RE: 2000 Trail-lite B-19? M-19? No NADA listing.

Looks like my HTT!! I have a 03 B-19. The model is the Bantam Flyer by R-Vision. Thet dropped the Bantam name recently but you may have better luck using the Bantam in your search. Bought mine 2 years ago in pristine shape for $8,800. Tows with my minivan and we absolutely love it!!

RE: How do you fix the condensation...

Venting!! I found through some forum searches that you need to have a roof vent cracked and maybe a window as well. You may also want to invest in bunk-end fans to help move the air. This should all but eliminate the condensation.

RE: 2000 Grand Voyager Headlight Lens

Did you check for cracks in the cover, any moisture? If so,you're better off repacing it. If not;I use scratch out by Turtle Wax to clean the cover when detailing cars. If that doesn't work CLR works pretty well too.

RE: Are Minivans Doomed?

I've had one for 3 years now and I absolutely love it. We tow our 03 B-19 w/a 03 Mazda MPV... close to max, but tows it easily. I can't imagine buying a thirsty truck just to tow a camper. With proper set-up and preventive maintanence our van has done extremely well. These vehicles don't get the credit they deserve! Trust me I never would've imagined me saying this not too long ago!

RE: Can a RAV4 V6 tow a popup?

The 08 RAV4 is more than enough vehicle for a pup! Is the V6 RAV4 really a measurable difference from the V6 4 runner? You can find them used for a song over the inflated V6 RAV4! Either way you'll be fine! Make sure you set up the vehicle properly though!

Mazda CX-9?

Test drove this vehicle today and I have one word... WOW!! I currently own a Mazda MPV and absolutely love it. We tow our B-19 with it and it does a great job. Does anyone have a CX-9 and use it as a TV? Just curious...

RE: Pocono Campgrounds

Tina,
I grew up in the Poconos. I've been to Mountain Vista and Mount Pocono campgrounds and recomend both. Labor Day weekend's usually got plenty of activities planned all over the area, depends on what you like to do. You may want to try the Pocono Vacation Bureau website to get a better idea of activities during that time.
Too much to go over on this forum. PM me if you like.

RE: Minivan towing a Hybrid, the numbers seem to work?

I for one have no problem with a minivan as a tow vehicle. I tow a 03 B-19 by R-Vision with a 03 Mazda MPV. The size and weight of my trailer are as high as I would go with the van. I've towed in the Smokies, and the mountains of North Carolina with no problems at all.
What type of trailer are you looking at? A small HTT <20 ft or a good size PUP would be a good fit for the van. Other IMPORTANT factors are the amount of passengers and cargo you'll be traveling with and the terrain you'll be towing in. PM me or feel free to call me if you like. Too much to cover on the forum.

Trip from Charlotte NC to Poconos

Planning our trip to the Poconos from Charlotte NC. We've driven this before, but am looking for alternate route(s). I was thinking about taking rte 29 to 15 thru Gettysburg before jumping on 22 near Harrisburg. Has anyone traveled this route/area before? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
BTW we'll be towing our 03 B-19 with our minivan. Yes we've driven to Pa before with this set-up and has done great. Just looking to stay away from 81 if possible. What do ya think?!

RE: Fresh Water back feeding into Fresh Water Tank

Are you connected to your water tank or water inlet?! If you have hook-ups you don't need to fill and or use your fresh water tank. Make sure your hose is connected to your city water inlet.

RE: Should we,or shouldn't we?

Doesn't sound like you're really into the camping thing... I happen to have gone from a PUP to a HTT and can't imagine going any other way. I still feel like I'm in a tent... very relaxing to me!!
From the time I back into my site to sitting in my camping chair ~ 15-20 mins max!! I have a 03 B-19 by R-Vision and tow with a 03 Mazda MPV.
My family and I couldn't be happier!!
